Our aim is to make emotional support more accessible and engaging, offering personalised wellbeing tools that encourage self-awareness, reflection, and regulation.
Marli is not a replacement for therapy or professional healthcare. All content is for informational and educational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. You should always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you have regarding your physical or mental health.
2. Crisis DisclaimerMarli is not suitable for use during a mental health crisis, emergency, or high-risk situation. If you are feeling suicidal, in danger, or in urgent need of support,
please contact emergency services or a licensed mental health professional in your area immediately. Marli is not monitored by live professionals and does not provide crisis intervention services.
3. EligibilityTo use Marli, you must be at least 18 years of age, or have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information provided during registration is accurate and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. AI-Powered FeaturesCertain features within Marli—including but not limited to chat-based check-ins, journaling prompts, and personalised content recommendations—use artificial intelligence (AI) to generate responses or guide your user experience. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy and usefulness of this content, AI-generated insights should never be interpreted as medical advice, diagnosis, or therapy. You acknowledge that the App's AI features are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional mental health support.
5. Subscriptions, Trials, and BillingMarli offers both free and paid subscriptions. Free trials may be made available to new users and are limited to one per person. Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period. All billing and subscription management is handled through your Apple App Store account. If you wish to manage or cancel your subscription, you must do so through your device’s account settings.
In some cases, access to Marli may be provided through a third party, such as an employer or partner organisation. In those cases, additional or separate terms may apply, which will take precedence in the event of any conflict.
6. Data Collection and PrivacyTo deliver a personalised and seamless experience, Marli collects certain data such as usage patterns, interactions within the app, and basic account information. This data is used to improve user experience and app performance, and to personalise content.
We never sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. All data is stored securely and used in accordance with Australian privacy standards and our internal data handling practices.

7. Appropriate Use and ConductBy using Marli, you agree to use the App responsibly and lawfully. You may not use the App to harass, abuse, defame, impersonate, or harm others, nor may you use it in any manner that interferes with the proper functioning of the App. Attempting to access Marli’s code, reverse engineer its features, or distribute unauthorised versions of the App is strictly prohibited.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently disable access to Marli if we believe a user is violating these Terms or engaging in conduct that could cause harm to others, the platform, or our company.
8. Intellectual PropertyAll content and intellectual property contained within Marli — including branding, designs, audio content, programs, software, and written material, are owned by A & R Gregory Enterprises Pty Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App and its content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute Marli content without express written permission.
9. User Submissions and ContentAny feedback, journal entries, or content voluntarily submitted by you through the App remains your property. Your privacy is our priority. By entering personal user content in journals and tracks input, your content will not be searchable or visible to anyone but you. You may wish to share feedback via hello@heymarli.app to improve the App and its features. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload complies with applicable laws and does not violate any rights.
10. Third-Party Links and IntegrationsMarli may contain links to third-party websites, services, or platforms that are not operated by us. We do not control these third-party services and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or performance. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and conditions.
11. DisclaimersMarli is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we aim to provide accurate and helpful information, we do not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or suitability of any content within the App. Your use of Marli is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, A & R Gregory Enterprises Pty Ltd disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any content will be free of harmful components.
12. Limitation of LiabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by law, A & R Gregory Enterprises Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. In any case, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for your subscription in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. IndemnityYou agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless A & R Gregory Enterprises Pty Ltd, its directors, officers, affiliates, employees, and licensors from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
14. Changes to TermsWe may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or operational policies. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. By continuing to use Marli after such changes, you agree to the revised Terms.
